Virtual Team Challenge

Treat your team to a virtual event with a difference. Made up of 3 separate challenges, you’ll be asked to solve puzzles, play games and treasure hunt your way to success!

Fun, educational and interactive, our sought-after Virtual Team Challenge event is the perfect remote team building activity. It improves teamwork, communication and connection while also being exceptionally good fun.

Ideal for team bonding sessions, senior management team building and refresher activities at virtual conferences.

How Does the Virtual Team Challenge Event Work?

First, our host gives your group a warm welcome to your Virtual Team Challenge. They then divide you into teams of 8-10 and ask you to nominate a team captain and give your team a name.

Next, they’ll share gaming links for you our 3 virtual team challenge games. These are Zin Zan, Letter Links and our famous Virtual Treasure Hunt…!

Zin Zan Puzzle Game

In Zin Zan, team members work together to solve brain teasers in a race against time. Each team member gets a different set of clues – with a few red herrings thrown in to keep things interesting!

You must discuss the riddle with your colleagues and use your reasoning skills to decide which clues are helpful – and which aren’t. Do you have the one piece of information that can unlock the solution for your team? Submit your final answer to see if you were right.

But be quick because it’s all about speed in this fun team challenge!

Zin Zan is a marvellous exercise for teaching your team to share information to work through complex challenges together.

Letter Links Virtual Challenge

Next up, your teams will complete our fun Letter Links word puzzle game. To begin, you’ll be given a 3 letter word. For example, your first word might be ‘RAP.’

Your challenge is to work together to connect two further 3 letter words to this. But there’s a catch!

The second word must begin with the last letter of the first word. Since the last letter of ‘rap’ is ‘p’, in our example the second word will need to start with ‘p’. You might choose ‘PAT.’

Lastly, the final word must both begin with the last letter of the second word and end with the first letter of the first word.

So, in this case, it must start with the last letter in ‘PAT’ – ‘T’ – and begin with the first letter in ‘RAP’ – ‘R’. A word that fits the bill here is ‘TAR.’

If you can’t find a 3rd word that does this, you’ll need to revise your second word to make sure you have all the links in place.

Sound simple? It is with 3 letters… but you’ll face a growing challenge as the words you need to link grow in size to the tune of being 10 letters long!

A great game of skill which builds team cohesion and teamwork.

Virtual Treasure Hunt

With teams neck and neck, we’ll head into the final round – our Virtual Treasure Hunt team building game!

Requiring a combination of memory and physical exertion, you’ll get those bums off seats as you rush round trying to find all the items on our list. Every 20 seconds a new item is revealed – but will you give each person several items to find at once or send someone off each time an item comes through?

Great strategy makes for a great result in a treasure hunt that brings a whole new meaning to being zoomed out!

Take a picture of your team holding up all the items you found to be crowned the Virtual Team Challenge Champions.

Outcomes of the Virtual Team Challenge

It’s only by drawing on the diverse skill sets of different team members that teams will reach the dizzying heights of success. This makes our Virtual Team Challenge a fun way to improve your team’s ability to work together to solve problems.

After all three team challenge games are complete, the scores will be announced and the overall winners will be crowned champions! They’ll receive a £5 gift voucher each or prize of your choosing as a reward.

Many thanks to Neil and Ruth for leading our virtual team building exercise... Many laughs were had while scrambling to collect the twenty items...!!! The Murder Mystery was my favourite and my team winning was the icing on the cake. The Haka showed how uncoordinated we are but the laughs ...just proves what an enjoyable experience we all had.
