We specialise in tailoring Team Building For University Student Outreach Programmes.
Combining our experience of delivering early careers team building programmes for Deloitte, Croudace Homes and ecco leather we have been able to further adapt our offer to be suitable for A level and undergraduate students.
In February 2022 we were delighted to have the chance to work with the University Of Birmingham’s Student Outreach team. We supported their efforts to engage with prospective undergraduates.
Their innovative Routes To Professions & Aspire Programmes, although already comprehensive, now include suitable team building for university student outreach programmes.
Following an introductory talk by EML Co-Founder Neil Cleaver on the importance of collaborative working in their future careers the teams undertook a series of team challenges against the clock.
Although fun the emphasis was on building connections and nurturing a sense of belonging at the University – especially in those individuals for whom the idea of going to ‘University’ might be completely a new one.
With many of our games used by major employers the team building session doubles as a great chance to experience a corporate team build and also to build valuable skills in any possible selection process further along in their journey.
We love this kind of work. The energy and engagement that young people bring is always second to none.
University Of Birmingham Student Outreach Programme Manager Jane Patel had this to say about us:
“EML have been absolutely amazing from the very beginning – their proposed team building activities have helped us achieve the objectives of our learning event while also having lots of fun! Very much looking forward to the next opportunity to work together!”
“I needed team building experts to help build a sense of buzz for the programme and you are a great local company with impressive links to professional clients.”

“EML were great to work with, really responsive & flexible. Our team was in need of some quality time together having been working from home for so long. Neil’s excellent facilitation helped us to learn more about each other, strengthen our connections, and build some shared goals in a really fun and safe way.”
