Dragons’ Den Team Building

Can your team win investment in our Dragons’ Den? It’s an indoor team building event like no other!

Keeping your team sharp is a must in today’s fast-paced economy. And that’s exactly what our Dragons’ Den team building experience is designed to do.

In this event, your team will conceptualise a new product, its target audience and branding. Then they’ll pitch the idea to our Dragons to land a life-changing investment. Can they do it? Let’s find out!

Designed to your specifications, Dragons’ Den team building tests and improves a range of key capabilities. From project planning and time management to communication and problem solving. It’s also a great catalyst for generating real world ideas for your business.

How Does Dragons’ Den Team Building Work?

Your Dragons’ Den team building experience will begin with a welcome from our hosts who will explain the day’s challenge. Will you be asked to market a miracle hangover cure? Beauty service? Pack of tissues? Your team can start with a ‘blank’ product or we can design a challenge to suit your organisation.

Next, your team will either face the challenge as a large group or be split into competing teams to come up with rival ideas. Not sure which would be best? Don’t worry, we’ll cover that in our event design process.

Pitching to the board

Teams will need to generate product concepts and brand ideas, discuss the options, and decide on a course of action. Then, they’ll work together to create something that will wow the dragons!

Have your team create product samples for dragons to examine… or film adverts to be played to dragons during their pitch. Anything goes. Teams will also need to formulate strong business cases in support of their chosen product or service.

Finally, with their concepts and marketing fully formed, your teams will pitch the dragons before everyone’s eyes! …but these pitches better be hot, as dragons only invest in the brightest ideas.

Outcomes of Dragons’ Den Team Building

Our Dragons’ Den team building event is excellent for evaluating and improving a range of skills in your workforce. For example, conceptualising a new service is great for creativity. Deciding on an approach is great for communication. And doing this in limited time is great for time management.

Because of this, Dragons’ Den team building gives team members an opportunity to exercise and develop these skills. At the same time, it gives leaders a way of assessing team performance in a low stakes environment. This enables you to spot strengths and weaknesses in order to improve future performance.

“Thank you for yesterday, it was lovely to meet you both, and it was a great day. Lots of positive feedback and I think we really took a lot away, especially from the MBTI. We’re currently trying to find a space to hang our artistic masterpiece!”

Many thanks to Neil and Ruth for leading our virtual team building exercise... Many laughs were had while scrambling to collect the twenty items...!!! The Murder Mystery was my favourite and my team winning was the icing on the cake. The Haka showed how uncoordinated we are but the laughs ...just proves what an enjoyable experience we all had.
