The inception of EML can be traced back to the meeting of its co-founders, Jon Huggett and Neil Cleaver, during their employment at a corporate events company in the Midlands. As they honed their skills, they aspired to offer team activities and events of the highest quality, focusing on delivering measurable outcomes for companies seeking more than just throw away fun.
Their vision entailed establishing a company that identified clients’ objectives and delivered tailored events of exceptional caliber to help them achieve their goals. EML aimed to guide clients through the entire event process, from developing a business case to evaluating the effectiveness of an event.
Thus, in the year 2000, Jon and Neil established EML Team—a business committed to customising events to suit your specific needs, seamlessly executing them, and accurately assessing their impact on your objectives. Our friendly and experienced team is dedicated to providing comprehensive support at every step. To this day, we exclusively organize team building activities, workshops, and events that we are confident will fulfill your aspirations.

Co-Founder and Facillitator
An entrepreneurial enthusiast and a true team player, Neil thrives in the world of events. While he enjoys making calls, developing sales and marketing strategies and delving into data analysis in the office to drive successful outcomes; his true passion lies on the stage. Whether it’s delivering captivating presentations or hosting engaging discussions, Neil feels most in his element when engaging an audience, microphone in hand.
Neil naturally embraces the opportunity to help others. Alongside his corporate training endeavours, Neil has recently merged his training prowess with his passion for CrossFit, providing guidance and support to individuals on their fitness journeys.
Co-Founder and Facillitator
Jon has over 29 years in the Event Industry which makes him highly organised, efficient with a very strong set of skills and vision. With Jon’s direction, our team delivers of a wide portfolio event services encompassing pure event management, workshops and conference based team activities. He is multi-dimensional in his approach to consultancy and event management and enjoys working with new concepts and ideas.
Away from team training, Jon enjoys crafting leather and has a strong passion for blackpowder shooting, competing at World Level and recently becoming a published author in this field.
Event Operations Manager
Megan is our rising superstar. After graduating with a BSc in Psychology, Megan started helping us part-time. She loved working with EML so much she made the decision to come and work in the office. Meg not only oversees logistics she also writes and updates our games and treasure hunts too. Future CEO material!
Steph has over 15 years of Marketing and Events experience. She looks after all the marketing at EML on a daily basis and is also one of our Head Events Crew. Her career highlight to date was hosting and performing as a magician at the largest 3 day wedding ever to be held at Disneyland Paris.
James LOVES accounting and bookkeeping. A strange concept to most of us here in the office but that’s exactly why we need him in our team! He keeps all things financial ticking over in the background to make sure things run smoothly.
